To measure is to know

Everyone knows the saying : "To measure is to know. This is applied daily at Hottlet.

Every product that comes in is of course first measured for temperature, then the specifications are checked, with an extra focus on the contents.

In concrete terms, this means that all the information on the packaging is checked to see whether it is correct according to the legal requirements and according to our technical data sheets.

At Hottlet, 800g net weight really means 800g product. Hottlet wants to supply correct and honest products. That means we check not only the packaging, but also the product itself.

We check the deiced weight, we check if the number of pieces per package is correct as proposed.

As icing on the cake, a taste test follows. In this way we can be sure that our customers receive a product that fully meets their expectations.

 

EXAMPLE : peeled shrimps.
We guarantee 800g net de-iced weight in the pack. On top of that comes a protective glaze, we do not currently prescribe that it must be 20%. Nor do we put on the packaging that the gross weight is 1kg.
